Capacitan a estudiantes de Guía de Turismo en Sitio
El Ministerio de Ambiente (MiAMBIENTE) y la Autoridad de Turismo (ATP), unieron esfuerzos para capacitar a estudiantes de Guía de Turismo en Sitio, dicha capacitación fue efectuada por personal de la Agencia de MiAMBIENTE de Volcán.
Entre los temas tratados están: manejo de visitantes y buenas prácticas dentro de las áreas protegidas.
Esta enseñanza tiene como objetivo, fortalecer los conocimientos para brindar un mejor servicio a los visitantes de áreas verdes protegidas con relevancia turística.
Los guías turísticos son personas que ofrecen viajes informativos y de entretenimiento en una zona determinada de nuestro país con buen servicio y trato amable, para que el recorrido de las personas que nos visitan, se convierta en una experiencia agradable.
Hasta agosto de este año, más de 23,458 personas han visitado áreas supervisadas por el Ministerio de Ambiente (MiAMBIENTE) en Chiriquí.
MiAmbiente train students of Tourism Guide on Site
The Ministry of the Environment (MiAMBIENTE) and the Tourism Authority (ATP) joined forces to train Tourist Guide students on Site, said training was held by personnel from the Volcan MiAMBIENTE Agency.
Among the topics covered are visitor management and good practices within protected areas.
This teaching aims to strengthen knowledge to provide a better service to visitors to protected green areas with tourist relevance.
Tour guides are people who offer informative and entertaining tours in a certain area of our country with good service and friendly treatment, so that the tour of the visitors becomes a pleasant experience.
As of August, of this year, more than 23,458 people have visited areas supervised by the Ministry of the Environment (MiAMBIENTE) in Chiriquí.
MITRADEL registra trabajadores que se movilizan hacia Costa Rica para cosechar café
Funcionarios del Ministerio de Trabajo y Desarrollo Laboral (MITRADEL), conjuntamente con el Ministerio de Salud (MINSA), Servicio Nacional de Migración y la Organización Internacional para las Migraciones (OIM), verifican y registran en el puesto establecido en la Feria de la Candelaria, distrito de Bugaba, a los trabajadores indígenas que se trasladan hacia Costa Rica para laborar en la cosecha del café.
Hermenegildo Baker, director regional de MITRADEL en Chiriquí, explicó que este puesto se estableció con el objetivo primordial de llevar un control sanitario de esta mano de obra; además corroborar que los menores cuenten con los permisos que certifiquen que viajan con familiares, específicamente aquellos con más de 16 años que se trasladan a las labores de cosecha al hermano país.
“Hasta la fecha llevamos un registro de más de 250 trabajadores que han cruzado hacia Costa Rica cumpliendo con los requisitos sanitarios y migratorios establecidos tanto por Panamá como Costa Rica, no obstante, las expectativas de contratación del Instituto del Café de Costa Rica para la cosecha cafetalera 2023 es de 16,500 trabajadores”, dijo Baker.
MITRADEL advances in the registration of workers who travel to Costa Rica for the coffee harvest
Officials from the Ministry of Labor and Labor Development (MITRADEL), together with the Ministry of Health (MINSA), the National Migration Service and the International Organization for Migration (IOM), verify and register indigenous workers who travel to Costa Rica to work in the coffee harvest, at the post established at the Candelaria Fair, Bugaba district.
Hermenegildo Baker, regional director of MITRADEL in Chiriquí, explained that this position was established with the primary objective of performing a sanitary control of this workforce; also corroborate that the childfren have the permits that certify that they travel with relatives, specifically those over 16 years of age who travel to the harvest in Costa Rica.
“To date we have a record of more than 250 workers who have crossed into Costa Rica complying with the health and immigration requirements established by both Panama and Costa Rica, notwithstanding, the hiring expectations of the Costa Rican Coffee Institute for the harvest coffee plantation 2023 is 16,500 workers,” Baker said.
Municipio de David organiza puestos de venta de legumbres
Con el objetivo de establecer un ordenamiento en la actividad de venta de legumbres, verduras y frutas en el centro de la ciudad, específicamente en los alrededores del parque de Cervantes, el municipio de David, a través del funcionario de cumplimiento se desarrolló un operativo de limpieza a cargo del departamento de aseo y ornato y se procedió a prohibir la instalación de vendedores en el área.
Orlando Diez, funcionario de cumplimiento, dijo que la medida de prohibir la venta de productos en ese lugar, se mantendrá de forma permanente, ya que algunos vendedores se dedicaban a la venta informal sin los permisos sanitarios y con malas prácticas de empaque e higiene de los productos.
El comisionado Edgar González, jefe de la 4ta Zona policial de Chiriquí, manifestó su apoyo a manera de seguridad para que los funcionarios municipales pudiesen realizar este trabajo, las notificaciones e igualmente la reestructuración en el área para lograr el ordenamiento debido, tanto en el aspecto vial, como también en la servidumbre para el paso expedito de los transeúntes.
Municipality of David organizes vegetable stalls
With the objective of establishing an order in the activity of selling legumes, vegetables, and fruits in the city center, specifically in the surroundings of the Cervantes Park, the municipality of David, through the compliance officer, a cleaning operation in charge of the cleaning and ornament department and proceeded to prohibit the installation of vendors in the area.

Panamá rumbo a la Copa América 2024
La selección de Panamá enfrentará a Martinica en un duelo por la Liga de Naciones CONCACAF en el estadio de la Universidad Latina de Penonomé hoy a las 7:00 p.m.
El equipo de Thomas Christiansen solamente tendrá una baja en el duelo ante Martinica y es la de Eduardo Anderson que se lesionó en los entrenamientos. El resto del equipo se encuentra al 100%.
La selección de Panamá quedó en cuarto lugar en la Liga de Naciones CONCACAF anterior y buscará su clasificación a la Copa América 2024.

Panama ready for its start towards the Copa América 2024
The Panamanian team will face Martinique in a duel for the Concacaf Nations League at the Stadium of the Universidad Latina de Penonomé.
Thomas Christiansen’s team will only have one casualty in the match against Martinique and that is Eduardo Anderson who was injured in training. The rest of the team is ready to play.
The Panamanian team finished fourth in the previous CONCACAF Nations League and will seek to qualify for the 2024 America Cup.
