La Cámara de Turismo, Comercio y Agricultura del distrito de Tierras Altas actualizó sobre la querella penal presentada en días pasados y emitió un comunicado actualizado sobre los avances, e indicaron que el 27 de noviembre el Ministerio Público específicamente la sección de David, admitió la querella presentada en contra de 21 personas querellados de delito al patrimonio económico, la seguridad colectiva y terrorismo.

Chiriquí sigue siendo la provincia donde se cultiva en mayor cantidad el poroto, siendo los distritos de Renacimiento, Bugaba, Dolega y Gualaca, los que registran mayor superficie de siembra.

Estudiantes de las escuelas oficiales del país regresaron este hoy lunes, 4 de diciembre, a clases luego que la dirigencia de los gremios docentes que paro de labores firmaron un acuerdo con las autoridades del Ministerio de Educación (Meduca).
El acuerdo de reinicio de clases, firmado entre la ministra de Educación, Maruja Gorday de Villalobos y 26 gremios docentes, prioriza la recuperación de contenidos académicos utilizando diversas estrategias pedagógicas, favoreciendo los procesos de nivelación y recuperación hasta el 29 de diciembre de 2023.
Según el acuerdo firmado, los centros educativos con estudiantes graduandos de noveno y duodécimo grado, realizarán los ajustes pertinentes en coordinación con las direccionesregionales y las comunidades educativas para graduaciones, nivelaciones y recuperaciones académicas, entre otras.

Organizan jornada para eliminación de la violencia contra la mujer
La alcaldía de David, a través de su departamento de psicología, dirigido por la Licenciada Julissa Castillo, el Ministerio de la Mujer y la Fundación Panamericana para el Desarrollo, desarrolló un taller interactivo en conjunto para abordar temas relacionados con la violencia doméstica, como parte de las acciones relacionadas con el Día Internacional de la Eliminación de la Violencia Contra la Mujer.
Castillo destacó que dicha actividad celebrada en la Escuela Municipal de Bellas Artes de David se enmarca en los temas que puedan afectar a las comunidades y uno de ellos es la violencia doméstica y para ello se han desarrollado acciones en temas como la violencia en general.
Se analizaron las diversas situaciones que puedan impactar o generar de alguna manera violencia, buscando siempre las consecuencias y las posibles soluciones.
