SENACYT y MEDUCA organizan el Encuentro Nacional de Didáctica de la Química y la Física en David
Con el objetivo de proporcionar un espacio colectivo de intercambio en torno a temas de interés docente, la Secretaría Nacional de Ciencia, Tecnología e Innovación (SENACYT), en conjunto con el Ministerio de Educación (MEDUCA), realizaron el Encuentro Nacional de Didáctica de la Química y la Física.
Este encuentro reúne a docentes de las provincias de Bocas del Toro, Coclé, Colón, Herrera, Los Santos, Panamá, Panamá Oeste, Veraguas y Chiriquí, con el fin de intercambiar propuestas y experiencias que promuevan el desarrollo profesional docente en cada una de sus disciplinas y que posibiliten el acercamiento, comunicación y formación de equipos de trabajo docente dentro de las escuelas.
Los educadores participantes forman parte del Programa de la Especialización en Didáctica de la Química, de la Universidad de Panamá (UP), y del programa de Especialización de Didáctica de la Física de la Universidad Tecnológica de Pereira, Colombia. Ambos programas proponen asumir la práctica experimental como un medio hacia la construcción de conocimiento y la formación del pensamiento.
SENACYT and MEDUCA organize the National Meeting of Didactics of Chemistry and Physics in David
With the aim of providing a collective space for exchange around topics of teaching interest, the National Secretariat of Science, Technology, and Innovation (SENACYT), together with the Ministry of Education (MEDUCA), held the National Didactics Meeting of the Chemistry and Physics.
This meeting brings together teachers from Bocas del Toro, Coclé, Colón, Herrera, Los Santos, Panamá, Western Panama, Veraguas, and Chiriquí, to exchange proposals and experiences that promote the professional development of teachers in each of their disciplines and that enable the rapprochement, communication, and formation of teaching work teams within schools.
The participating educators are part of the Specialization Program in Chemistry Didactics, of the University of Panama (UP), and the Specialization Program in Physics Didactics of the Technological University of Pereira, Colombia. Both programs propose taking experimental practice as a means towards the construction of knowledge and the formation of thought.
Industria de China interesada en el café panameño
Consultores asociados a la industria del café, tostadores, dueños de cafeterías y comercializadores provenientes de Shenzhen, Guangzhou y Hong Kong mostraron su interés por el café panameño, al ministro de Desarrollo Agropecuario, Augusto Valderrama, en una reunión que sostuvieron en el marco de la visita de la misión oficial panameña a la República Popular China.
Durante el encuentro, que duró dos horas, los empresarios tuvieron la oportunidad de degustar 15 diferentes tipos de café de Panamá. Los mismos expresaron el deseo de incluir más variedades de café de Panamá en sus operaciones.
El ministro Valderrama, agradeció el interés de los empresarios por el café de Panamá, al tiempo que recalcó las grandes oportunidades que existen en China para los productos panameños y la necesidad de seguir trabajando de forma estrecha para garantizar una buena calidad de los productos, beneficios económicos justos y una oferta estable.
Chinese industry interested in Panamanian coffee
Consultants associated with the coffee industry, roasters, coffee shop owners and marketers from Shenzhen, Guangzhou and Hong Kong showed their interest in Panamanian coffee to the Minister of Agricultural Development, Augusto Valderrama, in a meeting they held within the framework of the visit of the official Panamanian mission to the People’s Republic of China.
During the meeting, which lasted two hours, the businessmen had the opportunity to taste 15 different types of Panama coffee. They expressed the desire to include more varieties of Panama coffee in their operations.
Minister Valderrama thanked the businessmen for their interest in Panamanian coffee, while emphasizing the great opportunities that exist in China for Panamanian products and the need to continue working closely to guarantee the good quality of the products, benefits fair economic conditions and a stable offer.
Agroferia del campo a la mesa benefició a Solaneños en Chiriquí
Conmemorando el décimo aniversario del corregimiento de Solano, distrito de Bugaba, Chiriquí se realizó la agroferia interinstitucional del campo a la mesa.
En esta oportunidad, las instituciones del sector agropecuario se hicieron presentes brindando sus servicios. El público además, pudo adquirir alimentos de la canasta básica a bajos precios, con la participación de los productores a través de la Cadena de Frío, y de la agrotienda del Instituto de Mercadeo Agropecuario (IMA).
Agrofair from field to table benefited Solaneños in Chiriquí
Commemorating the tenth anniversary of the town of Solano, district of Bugaba, Chiriquí, the inter-institutional agricultural fair from field to table was held.
On this occasion, institutions from the agricultural sector were present providing their services. The public was also able to purchase food from the basic basket at low prices, with the participation of producers through the Cold Chain, and the agricultural store of the Agricultural Marketing Institute (IMA).
Columbus University presenta proyecto de restauración de la Casa Fundación Gallegos en David
Estudiantes de arquitectura de Columbus University de la ciudad de David presentaron en el Municipio de David un proyecto para la remodelación de la Casa Fundación Gallegos, ubicada en el casco antiguo de la ciudad.
La directora de la universidad, Ana de Ugarte, dijo que el proyecto se basa en un estudio e investigaciones hechas por los estudiantes de la Escuela de Arquitectura, incluyendo un presupuesto del costo de los trabajos.
El profesor Ernesto González, del curso de restauración de Columbus University, explicó que se hizo un levantamiento meticuloso de las actuales estructuras, evaluación de los daños y a raíz de eso, los estudiantes ofrecen una propuesta de restauración completa, que permita a la municipalidad contar con este avance y se pueda ejecutar próximamente.
Columbus University presents restoration project for the Gallegos Foundation House in David
Architecture students from Columbus University of David presented in the Municipality of David a project for the remodeling of the Gallegos Foundation House, located in the old town of the city.
The director of the university, Ana de Ugarte, said that the project is based on a study and research done by students of the Architecture School, including a budget for the cost of the work.
Professor Ernesto González, from the Columbus University restoration course, explained that a meticulous survey of the current structures was performed, an assessment of the damage was made and as a result, the students offered a complete restoration proposal, which would allow the municipality to have this progress and that can be executed soon.
