MIDA y ganaderos mantienen reuniones para tratar sobre la movilización de animales en Guabalá
El Ministerio de Desarrollo Agropecuario (MIDA) está llevando a cabo reuniones con ganaderos chiricanos en Guabalá para discutir la movilización de animales.
Los encuentros tienen como objetivo destacar la importancia del control de enfermedades para salvaguardar la salud animal y la seguridad alimentaria de la población panameña.
La directora de Cuarentena Agropecuaria del MIDA, Kirian Cerceño, ha explicado que durante estas reuniones se informa a los transportistas y ganaderos de Tolé y Chiriquí sobre los requisitos sanitarios para el transporte de animales, ya sea para sacrificio, competiciones o trabajo. Estas sesiones continuarán esta semana con el propósito de mantener una vigilancia activa y asegurar el cumplimiento de los protocolos necesarios.
MIDA and ranchers hold meetings to discuss the mobilization of animals in Guabalá
The Ministry of Agricultural Development (MIDA) is holding meetings with Chirican ranchers in Guabalá to discuss the mobilization of animals.
The meetings aim to highlight the importance of disease control to safeguard animal health and food security of the Panamanian population.
The director of Agricultural Quarantine at MIDA, Kirian Cerceño, explained that during these meetings, transporters and ranchers from Tolé and Chiriquí are informed about the health requirements for transporting animals, whether for slaughter, competitions or work. These sessions will continue this week with the purpose of maintaining active surveillance and ensuring compliance with the necessary protocols.
Celebran Día Mundial de la Tierra y aniversario del programa de arborización urbana
En conmemoración del Día Mundial de la Tierra y del tercer aniversario del Programa de Arborización Urbana, el Instituto de Ciencias Ambientales y Desarrollo Sostenible (ICADES) de la Universidad Autónoma de Chiriquí organizó una jornada de capacitación para el personal administrativo vinculado al mantenimiento y conservación de áreas verdes en la ciudad de David.
Durante el evento, Manuel Vega, coordinador del departamento de gestión ambiental del municipio de David, presentó sobre los Beneficios Ecosistémicos de los árboles.
Destacó la importancia de la participación de la sociedad civil en proyectos de conservación ambiental y en la preservación de las condiciones climáticas en la ciudad. Reconoció la falta de cultura ambiental, pero expresó la intención de cambiar esa mentalidad mediante la educación formal.
They celebrate World Earth Day and anniversary of the urban tree planting program
In commemoration of World Earth Day and the third anniversary of the Urban Arborization Program, the Institute of Environmental Sciences and Sustainable Development (ICADES) of the Autonomous University of Chiriquí organized a training day for administrative personnel linked to the maintenance and conservation of green areas in the city of David.
During the event, Manuel Vega, coordinator of the environmental management department of the municipality of David, presented on the Ecosystem Benefits of trees.
He highlighted the importance of civil society participation in environmental conservation projects and in the preservation of climatic conditions in the city. He recognized the lack of environmental culture, but expressed the intention to change that mentality through formal education.

La gimnasia en Panamá busca proyección internacional
Los últimos resultados donde las representaciones femeninas de Panamá en las diferentes modalidades de Gimnasia Olímpica sobre todo en la rama Femenina, ha merecido la atención a la dirigencia deportiva y en unión de las atletas han llamado la atención a las autoridades para que se actualicen y mejoren las condiciones competitivas y de formación deportiva.
Encabezadas por Hillary Heron, los nombres de Karla Navas y Lana Herrera, han destacado en Juegos Regionales, Internacionales y la mirada se detiene en los Olímpicos de París este año. A esos nombres se suma recientemente la joven promesa Alyiah Lide de 14 años que impresionó en los Juegos de la Juventud en Sucre, Bolivia con 5 medallas de oro.
La gimnasia Olímpica es uno de los espectáculos más concurridos en torneos de países con tradición e historia y la contratación de técnicos foráneos ha logrado la notable evolución.
Karla Navas ganó en Qatar a inicios su torneo y con ello la expectativa de competir al más alto nivel olímpico.

Gymnastics in Panama seeks international projection
The latest results where the female representations of Panama in the different modalities of Olympic Gymnastics, especially in the Women’s branch, have deserved the attention of the sports leadership and together with the athletes have called the attention of the authorities to update and improve competitive conditions and sports training.
Led by Hillary Heron, the names of Karla Navas and Lana Herrera, have stood out in Regional and International Games and the gaze stops at the Paris Olympics this year. Recently added to those names is the young promise Alyiah Lide, 14 years old, who impressed at the Youth Games in Sucre, Bolivia with 5 Gold medals.
Olympic gymnastics is one of the most popular show in tournaments in countries with tradition and history and the hiring of foreign technicians has achieved notable evolution.
Karla Navas won her tournament in Qatar at the beginning and with it the expectation of competing at the highest Olympic level.

Empata Colón la serie final del beis mayor y se definirá en Panamá
Con dominio completo de la fuerte artillería chiricana, los derechos Jorge Rodríguez y Cristóbal Ramos se combinaron en 9 episodios para superar a Chiriquí 6 carreras por 3 en el Kenny Serracín y empatar 1-1 la Serie Final que se traslada a ciudad de Panamá para reanudar el jueves 25 en el Juan Demóstenes Arosemena.
Colón hizo 4 carreras con tres imparables en el primer episodio contra Luis Machuca que no ha lucido bien. Chiriquí solamente bateó 5 imparables y recibieron 8 ponches. Colón bateó 11 imparables.
Por los colonenses, cerró Luis Castillo. La ofensiva de Colón trabajó temprano y Carlos Rodríguez hizo un gran trabajo que lo mantiene invicto en este torneo Nacional número 81.

Colón ties the final series of the major league and it will be defined in Panama
With complete control of the strong Chirican artillery, right-handers Jorge Rodríguez and Cristóbal Ramos combined in 9 innings to beat Chiriquí 6 runs to 3 at the Kenny Serracín and tie the Final Series 1-1 that moves to Panama City to resume on Thursday the 25th at the Juan Demóstenes Arosemena.
Colón made 4 runs with three hits in the first inning against Luis Machuca who has not looked good. Chiriquí only had 5 hits and struck out 8. Colón had 11 hits.
For the people of Colon, Luis Castillo Hill. Colón’s offense worked early and Carlos Rodríguez did a great job that keeps him undefeated in this 81st National tournament.
